A Book Review! Who doesn't like reading during the Summer!?
Few days ago, when my vacations started on the 22nd of May, I went Book Shopping! Well, who doesn't like going book shoopping? It's so tough to choose and shop and then re-choose from the pre-selected one - Gosh what a pain! Then, there are times when you get to re-check the price and whether you ACTUALLY Need and Want the boook?!!?!? :O :O
Gosh now you must have got how tough it is to buy and then actually read a boook!
SO anyways, in the end I went for a bookbyweight sale with my friend - It's quite a cool concept that is launched every summer - 60 bucks per kg books - isnt that cool?? It was the most amazing experience ever! i bought some 15 books for just Rs. 300~~~
Anyways, back to the point, besides the different books i bought - I bought about 15 best-sellers of Sophie Kinsella. She's by far one of the best authors I've ever read - her novels make you feel real and make you feel what she's writing - you can imagine it!
From her amazinggg collection, I got to buy 5 books - Shopaholic & Baby, Shopaholic & Sister, Remember Me, Mini Shopaholic and The Undomestic Goddess. (It was actually the movie based on the first book which actually inspired me to read the books)
Further on, I must say, that the three books based on Rebecca Bloomwood, better known as Becky, from my recently bought collection, are really really worth a read - if not two!
The story unfolds very gracefully and kind of takes you through a roller-coaster that you never wanna get out of. Amongst the three books that I've read uptil now - I believe that Shopaholic & Baby was the cutest and the funniest. Reading the life of a pregnant Becky and her crazy thoughts of her husband having an affair are truly hilarious and written superbly (y). Her choice of various therapies during her pregnancy and all the crazy thoughts expressed are truly a worthy read!
Each of the books are as awesome as these that I have bought - go have a look and buy these - Believe me it's worth it! <3
